A New Village was born about five years ago in Cheshire.
Sandymoor, named after the small wood within the village called Sandymoor
Wood.
About 850 homes have already been built and we believe
that there will be about 1,750 homes in Sandymoor. At the moment the
village is not a Parish, we can not be that until the area is finished and
that may not be until the year 2005.
Sandymoor is just on the border of Runcorn and Warrington.
The Village is part of Halton Council in Runcorn. Nearby we have the
Village of Moor and the famous Village of Daresbury, Why? Because Lewis
Carol was born in Daresbury. Also we have a Norman
Castle in the area.
We have a Community Association for the Village which was
founded in 1997. Membership only costs £2.00 per annum. If you would like
